About
Hey there- My name is Corina Mitchell! I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree at Roger Williams University and will be graduating in spring of 2026. I am currently employed in an internship with Rhode Island Magic as a sports designer. Outside of my academics and my internship, I like to spend my time with my friends, play sports (especially rugby), photograph, and travel. I hold my values in my friendships, my work, in my creative vision, in being professional, being silly at times, and most importantly in teamwork and collaboration.
Throughout my time at Roger Williams University, I have grown my work from the bottom up in sports photography - mainly in the women’s rugby team on campus as both a player and photographer. I picked up the camera in spring of 2023 to give more promotion to the team, taught myself to use both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Lightroom Classic, and I learned how to promote the team through photography, all while being a player as well. Combining both my photography and design skills I am able to create graphics that help promote the team, along with making publications, magazines, and a photo essay. I got to work with our collegiate conference to photograph qualifiers for nationals for rugby. I was also given the opportunity to photograph for my internships. My photography is described by my peers, professors, and others in the community as being in the heat of the moment, crisp, and clean.
I achieve my goals by pushing forward through problems, as well as learning from others. In my work, I really enjoy collaborating with others on projects, as well as getting feedback in order to do better on my solo projects. I strive for professionalism and efficiency in my designs.
